These unique pieces of art-design will be sold by auction. The whole event is proof of In-Es.artdesign to combine art and design

MATT COLLECTION DOUBLE AWARDED GERMAN DESIGN AWARD AND ICONIC AWARDS 2016

The Matt collection by In-es.artdesign has been awarded the prestigious German Design Award and the Iconic Awards 2016. These rewards are the premium international prizes awarded by the German Design Council who aims to honor and showcase unique design trends from all over the world.

The Matt collection is a true tribute to matter including three lines, all entirely modeled by artisans: Cemento, Lavagna and Nebula. Each is made with profoundly diverse materials, yet they are all similar in the capacity of conveying the feelings of touch and atmosphere. Cemento uses a cement varnish of great materic impact; Lavagna one uses a blackboard finish, which can be written on and then erased, exactly like a blackboard. Designed to evoke childhood games and memories of the first days at school, it is a light made for people that still marvel at the world. Nebula uses the special Nebulite® material, a special mix of resin and fiber glass that has been specially developed for In-es.artdesign to create the unique, soft, atmospheric and evocative lighting of the lamp.

The Matt collection will be exhibited @ Light+Building Exhibition (Hall 5.1 | Stand B21) and in the Trend Forum area (Hall 5.1).
