Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and if you still haven’t decided what to do, we at Luxxdesign.com have a few ideas to share on how to prepare the perfect evening at home.

Forget busy restaurants serving the usual Valentine’s Day menus, why not just stay at home? All you need are a few tricks to make your evening special and unforgettable. A table set with special attention, some candles, a nice and sexy dress and a luscious menu prepared by you.

Let’s start from the menu itself, and some original ideas to create a dinner that is delicate and full of flavours.

First, the aperitif. Forget the traditional cocktails and try the unusual one with raspberry and chocolate, a truly tasty and delicious drink, very simple to prepare. Try this recipe from Delish.com for a cocktail that won’t disappoint.

For starter, an absolute must: oysters, served as you like them, with lemon, salt or tabasco.
