GELATO FESTIVAL has come to Milan. From the 2nd to the 12th June in Piazza Castello people will be able to savor the best ice creams ever.

After Florence, Parma, Rome and Naples, now it's the turn of Milan, with its new flavors to taste and of course vote!

But first things first. Gelato Festival is the largest competition of Italian ice creams, with 18 stages across Europe and 100 new flavors to taste presented by the best gelato makers around the continent.

A jury of experts and a community jury will vote for the best gelato at each stage until the final with the award for the best gelato maker in Europe.

The medal reminds the real Italian gelato, the silhouette of the cone is perforated and the dreadrop shape reminds the Olympic flame, symbolizing the journey to discover the flavors. The medal was created by the Florentine goldsmith Paolo Penko on the occasion of the Gelato Festival 2016.
